Crossbow Review: Barnett Vengeance Carbon Crossbow

The Barnett Vengeance is the first crossbow to combine reverse draw technology with a lightweight Carbon Lite Riser.

Many of our customers here at are looking for something no one else has.  Representing a major leap in crossbow evolution, the Barnett Vengeance is the first crossbow to combine reverse draw technology with a lightweight CarbonLite Riser. The combination produces a bow with significantly less vibration and noise than a traditional draw crossbow without sacrificing speed or accuracy.  The Barnett Vengeance is one of the best crossbows for the money.

Barnett’s new reverse draw configuration shifts the center of gravity closer to the shooter’s body by moving the limb pockets closer to the trigger assembly, while the limbs face forward on the bow. This design drastically reduces the weight at the front of the crossbow, which is essential for a well-balanced shot.  If you are a tree stand hunter or a ground blind hunter, this will make shooting much easier.  It is especially helpful for hunters with neck or shoulder injuries.

A CarbonLite Riser assembly further reduces the weight without compromising strength or accuracy. The most technically advanced riser ever created for a Barnett crossbow, the CarbonLite Riser removes approximately 43% of weight from the riser, which dramatically shifts the balance point toward shoulder. The reverse draw design coupled with the CarbonLite Riser allows the Vengeance to provide the steadiest and most accurate shot possible.
The Vengeance delivers blistering fast speeds at 365 fps with just a 140 pound pull.  The power stroke is long at 18 inches, but again the 140 pound pull makes this one of the easiest crossbows to pull back.

The Barnett Vengeance crossbow comes in a carbon fiber finish or a high-definition camouflage.  The Vengeance is available right here at as a complete package with crossbow, quick detach quiver, three 22″ arrows and an illuminated 3×32 Multi Reticle Scope. Like all other Barnett Crossbows, the Vengeance is proudly made in the USA.
